We stayed at Hostal La Casilla while walking the Camino del Norte and were pleasantly surprised. The staff went above and beyond, providing a delicious breakfast in our room and acting as waitstaff during our tasty evening meal. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet, despite being close to a local railway line. We also appreciated the secure bike parking available. a great option for Camino walkers and a step above other hotels we stayed in.
I do recommend this hotel.

It was a great space for them to run around and have fun. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable.
In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if there were more activities for the kids to do besides the playground.

Lovely little country hotel, situated slightly out of town. Stayed here whilst walking the Camino del Norte. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Secure pushbike parking available. Helpful staff, receptionist acted as a waitress for our huge and tasty evening meal. Restaurant staff were very helpful, despite my poor attempts at Spanish. The food offered at the hotel was very good and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was great for exploring the local area and offered easy access to nearby attractions. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep.
The noise from a nearby party kept me up until the early hours of the morning. there were a few staffing issues that resulted in poor service.

This lovely little hotel is situated in a quiet country setting near a local railway line but close enough to the centre. The room was clean, comfortable and the service provided by the staff was excellent, going above and beyond to help in any way possible. The restaurant was particularly good with huge and tasty evening meals. Bike parking is available in a secure storeroom, a real advantage for those exploring the area.
The hotel could improve on the breakfast, which consisted only of jam and toast, but with such a great restaurant, it wasn't a major issue.

Good price, good Wi-Fi signal, and free parking available. The hotel is located in a quiet area located close to a highway and a train station, which is convenient if you are traveling around by car or train.
The staff seemed uninterested in supporting their guests, making us feel unwelcome. The room felt old and not well-maintained, with outdated amenities and an uncomfortable bed.

As avid bikers, we appreciated the secure bike parking in the hotel storeroom.
We felt completely happy, no complaints at all.
